I'm trying to import database objects from the db into TFS. However I'm
getting you don't have View Any definition permissions. I have dbo
permissions and I've checked with the DBA and according to him I have the
necessary permissions.

Also before getting the error I get warning message stating on deployment
the objects will be placed under master db. That should not happen - It
should prompt me to specify the target db?

You probably need to create a TFS project and assign appropriate project
permissions to your account via Team Explorer.

Also, I would recommend a third-party book on Team Foundation Server. The
product documentation is a great reference, if you know what you're looking
for, but it's pretty weak on "How Tos" and initial setup and configuration
of TFS. For additional assistance on configuring and using Team Foundation
Server, you should refer to the TFS forums on the MSDN site.

The scope of this newsgroup is limited to =certification= on Visual Studio
products.
